21st century speaks competition in every arena of life. Personal or professional life there is an overflow of competition. Business world, science and technology, discovering arena, social and political sector all are brimming with an antagonism in people to lead ahead of others. And in such a situation if one is not focused and organized in his life. is not decisive about his future ultimately if he doesn’t know even has a news of his to tomorrow then is sure to be left out in this of rat race. Therefore it is a must for every individual to plan for his future, decide on what he wants to do in life, and set up a goal for oneself so that the mind is focused in a single direction and doesn’t fluctuate further onto unsuitable tracks and this is what is known as career planning.

Career planning enables us to make use of the opportunities at hand along with a satisfaction of choice maintaining the balance of our capabilities as well. Career planning is a process which lasts us a lifetime. It enables us to take a decision for ourselves which makes a mark for our entire life. A lot of people never thought about a career center. They just went from one job to another. The one that they liked, they kept doing longer than the others. Some go to college or get job training and that helps point us in a direction, though that may not be the career center they really want to go.

Sometimes, career counseling is needed more by those people who already have degrees and have just recently entered the workforce or may have been working for a few years. What do they need one? None of them liked their jobs. Used to be that parents and school counselors thought more of the money-making potential of a job than whether it was something kids wanted to do for a living.
